The technology is applied for shutting-off formation water inflows in producing oil- and gas-wells. It is based on creation and placement of a plugging screen in the targeted interval of formation by means of magnetic field. 


Unlike other techniques of formation water inflows shut-off the proposed technology provides formation treatment selectivity. It is also expedient to use this technology in case of cement sheath leakages when the packer application proves to be inefficient.

Plugging-back cement slurries comprising polymeric systems and magnetoactive substances increase the strength of the plugging screen in the formation.

The technology is implemented with standard field equipment by means of running a special magnetic field generator into the well. 


The technology has high performance characteristics due to the application of standard equipment and saving of chemical agents.

To create watertight barriers in a formation the plugging-back compound comprising additives with magnetoactive substances is used. Under the action of the magnetic field generated in the well the stiff insulating structures are formed in the formation shutting off water inflows. 

The technology has been successfully applied in Turkmen oil-fields (see the Charts 1 and 2 in Results).

.Operation results on oil fields in Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, China, Cuba, Poland, Russia, Syria, Turkmenistan and Ukraine have shown that after the Company’s technologies application the oil production increases from 2 to 5 times and even more. After well workover the duration of well’s operation at increased level of yield is from 6 months to 2 years.
