Increasing pumping wells productivity

The possibility of increasing productivity of producing oil wells equipped with electric submersible pumps (ESP) by adding water solution of high molecular weight compound (HMC) to the produced fluid has been proved by its commercial introduction in the CIS oil fields. The effect of turbulent exchange is the main factor for increasing efficiency of the pumping unit due to reducing hydraulic resistance of produced fluid flow. When flowing from annulus into the pump and tubing string the water solution of high molecular weight compound forms laminar wall sublayer that suppresses turbulent vortexes on the inner surface of tubing string. Thereafter the fluid moves in quasi fluid bearing.

The optimal speed of fluid flow in tubing is 4-8 m/seс.

The effect of turbulent exchange caused by adding polymeric compound admixture to the produced fluid appears both in water-free and flooded wells. Short-time emulsification (mostly unstable, of "oil- water" type) improves hydraulic characteristics of the flow in the lift without deteriorating performance of the pumping well.    

Efficiency:

Increasing productivity of electric submersible pumps convincingly confirms the high performance characteristics of the technology.

.Operation results on oil fields in Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, China, Cuba, Poland, Russia, Syria, Turkmenistan and Ukraine have shown that after the Company’s technologies application the oil production increases from 2 to 5 times and even more. After well workover the duration of well’s operation at increased level of yield is from 6 months to 2 years.
