Yug-Neftegaz Private Limited successfully defended the 'Report on the results of 3D seismic survey including the sea-land transition zones within the Northern Goturdepe field and the shallow waters of the Caspian Sea and adjacent areas, including Central and Western Goturdepe fields' on April 18, 2018 in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan). The Report was prepared in compliance with the terms of the Contract No.TGL-08 d.d. November 7, 2014.

The decision of the Minister of Energy, Minerals and Renewable Energy of the Tunisian Republic on issuing the License allowing exploration activities within the Nefzaoua Permit Area for YNG Energy Limited together with the ETAP (the Tunisian petroleum state-owned company) was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Tunisia on December 22, 2017.
