As partners in the Nefzaoua Exploration Permit YNG Energy Limited and ETAP conducted a joint scouting of the Permit area on 25th – 27th September 2018.
On June 26, 2018, the 10th Araifa Exploration Permit Technical and Operational Committee Meetings were held by The Entreprise Tunisienne d’Activités Pétrolières (ETAP) and YNG Exploration. The representatives of The Ministry of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energies (Direction Générale des Hydrocarbures), ETAP Exploration Department and Data Center participated in the meetings.
The 1st meeting of the Operating Committee for the Nefzaoua Permit Area Project was held on March 28, 2018 in Tunis (Tunisia).
As a result of the meeting held the working program for 2018 was approved.
The representatives of Yug-Neftegaz Private Limited have taken part in the largest international forum of the gas industry of Turkmenistan - the 9th Turkmenistan Gas Congress, which was held on the 23rd - 24th of May, 2018 in Avaza. The Gas Congress is the most important event of the year, where more than 400 delegates from 30 countries of the world took part
Yug-Neftegaz Private Limited successfully defended the 'Report on the results of 3D seismic survey including the sea-land transition zones within the Northern Goturdepe field and the shallow waters of the Caspian Sea and adjacent areas, including Central and Western Goturdepe fields' on April 18, 2018 in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan). The Report was prepared in compliance with the terms of the Contract No.TGL-08 d.d. November 7, 2014.
The decision of the Minister of Energy, Minerals and Renewable Energy of the Tunisian Republic on issuing the License allowing exploration activities within the Nefzaoua Permit Area for YNG Energy Limited together with the ETAP (the Tunisian petroleum state-owned company) was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Tunisia on December 22, 2017.
